FMHACA's new building under construction
FMHACA is constructing a new laboratory and office building at it’s head quarter. The construction is scheduled to be completed in 2010. Upon completion FMHACA's Drug Quality control and toxicology laboratory will move to the new building.

Training of trainers...
Training of trainers for federal, regional and zonal inspectors on inspection principles, methodologies and enforcement has been given. The training is organized by Ethiopian Food, Medicine and Health care Administration and Control Authority of Ethiopia in collaboration with USAID/PHSP-E. The objective of the training is to equip the inspectors with inspection principles, methodologies and enforcement and to introduce standards of health care facilities.
