Drug Administration and Control Authority of Ethiopia has four major Departments:

1. Drug Evaluation and Registration Department (DERD)

2 . Planning, Drug Information Establishment and Distribution Department (PDIEDD)

3. Drug Control and Abuse Prevention Department (DCAPD)

4 . Drug Quality Control and Toxicology Laboratory Department (DQCTLD)

DACA is constructing a new laboratory and office building at it’s head quarters. The constru ction is scheduled to be completed in two years. Upon completion, DACA's Drug Quality control and toxicology laboratory will move to the new building. DACA envisages to be a Competent Drug Regulatory Authority in the Region.

DACA
