Consultative review workshop on the draft standard treatment
guidelines was undertaken
The workshop was held
on March 5&6 2009 at Adama Ras Hotel.
The workshop was aimed
at enriching the draft document to make it a good clinical
guide and valuable source of updated information for health
professionals.
The modalities of the
workshop in depth group discussion followed by group
presentation. Finally a general consensus was reached among
the group on the different issues raised during the group
discussion.
A total of 45
participants drawn from Hospitals, Regional health offices
and non governmental organizations, were attended the
workshop.
Training on
the prevention of drug abuse and trafficking, for youth
association leaders was undertaken
The training was held on, April, 9-11 2009 at
Adama, Pan -Africa Hotel.
Speaking on the opening of the training, Ato
Wendie Alemu, the authority regulatory standards settings
and information delivery directorate director said, the aim
of the training was raising awareness for youth association
leaders to contribute their own role for the prevention of
using and trafficking of illicit narcotic, psychotropic
substances and other social drugs....continue
